Invited Sessions
ISCAS 2003
Bangkok, Thailand
May 25-28, 2003
ISCAS 2003 technical program will include invited sessions. The objective of the invited sessions is to complement the regular program with topics of special interest to the circuits and systems community that cut across and beyond disciplines traditionally represented at ISCAS. Invited sessions that revolve around the conference theme of "life-style technologies" are especially welcome. Prospective organizers of invited sessions should submit proposals indicating a title of the session, a rationale of the need for the invited session at ISCAS, and a list of five (5) invited contributions (including titles, authors, and contact information of the corresponding author). Endorsement of the proposal by at least one CAS technical committee is encouraged, but not required for consideration. Proposals are due September 1, 2002 and should be sent via e-mail to the invited sessions chairs, Ljiljana Trajkovic and Gert Cauwenberghs . Proposals will be evaluated based on the timeliness of the topic, qualifications of the organizers and invited authors, and the balance of the topics across the technical areas represented in CAS. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the organizers by September 15. Invited authors of successful proposals should submit a manuscript by December 1, 2002. Manuscripts should conform to the formatting and electronic submission guidelines of regular ISCAS papers. All manuscripts will undergo peer review. It is the responsibility of the organizers to ensure that their invited session meets the ISCAS quality standards.
